After continually bringing about unimagined profits for every company he worked for and dramatically changing the lives of his peers, T&D's co-founder decided that it was time to consider putting together an organization that would dedicate itself to helping others in the Sales World. And although his instinct and experience told him there was an absolute need for this… he wanted to make sure of its credibility.
He began to consult with his most admired colleagues and set forth upon an in-depth analysis. It became his life’s work to substantiate what caused success and what caused failure in the magical society of capitalism. What caused a deal to go through or why wasn’t a larger order placed? Why didn’t someone repeat their business or why wasn’t a particular promotion effective? He then set out to analyze deals from the other side of the sale. This is where his greatest revelations came from… by wearing a consumer hat. Repeatedly, the same conclusions were drawn… consistent fundamentals evident in his work were backed by the research. Eventually, a team of associates had emerged that believed new ground was breaking and fully involved themselves with the project. They agreed there was a gaping hole in a process that runs our society… a process that is often self-defeating. A furthered investigation into the most popular sales books and training companies ensued. It yielded a consensus that although the contemporaries had good things to offer, none were hitting upon an important array of fundamentals (that were by now the group’s staple). It became evident that there was a real need for a business that helps other businesses get more business and keep that business. It was also very clear that businesses are always in need of Solid Salespeople that would represent their company correctly. Hence, this group formed a Corporation that is dedicated to applying a special brand of Business Development which resides on Two Rules: 1. That they will never engage in business with an entity that can not be substantially assisted. 2. That they will never engage in business with an entity whose service or product they don’t believe in. Since then, they have been making goals a reality and continue to bring a new meaning to the word SALE.
